What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Paraeducator position at Southern Kern Unified School District (Rosamond, Ca)?
Assists the teacher in carrying out duties necessary to provide services to Title I students; to assist in the conduct of reinforcement learning experiences; to support tasks for instructional personnel; to perform minimal routine clerical tasks; to provide student supervision during passing periods and recess/lunch times; and to do other related work as required. Southern Kern Unified School District was established in 1962 and currently serves 3,650 students in two elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, one alternative high school, and one independent study school. High School Diploma or GED required
Must be ESSA compliant (must possess one of the following: AA Degree or higher OR 48 college semester units OR pass District ESSA Paraeducator Test)
