Position Summary
The Pool Attendant is responsible for the overall maintenance of the onsite pool . It is a part-time, seasonal position, Saturdays & Sundays from 1PM - 5PM, May to September. It is also required to work on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day, 1PM - 5PM.

Position Summary
The Pool Attendant is responsible for the overall maintenance of the onsite pool . It is a part-time, seasonal position, Saturdays & Sundays from 1PM - 5PM, May to September. It is also required to work on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day, 1PM - 5PM.
Primary Responsibilities
- Setting up umbrellas, loungers, and other pool furniture
- Ensuring the restrooms are clean and have soap/bath tissue and paper towels
- Ensuring that the pool deck is clean
- Reporting any safety hazards that may exist or develop
- Reporting any lighting issues that may exist
- Report any damage to the pool and related facilities
- Report residents/guests that are not following the posted rules and pool addenda
- Checking the emergency phone at each shift to ensure it’s in working order/charged
- Collecting and taking the trash out
- Checking and recording pool chemicals/PH level and temperature of the water
- Reporting any damage or other incidences to the office
- Managing the pool cleaning schedule and performing inspections at each shift
- Enforcing safety protocols as set out by management
- 2 years of practical experience preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with co-workers, residents, and vendors
- Ability to anticipate the needs of the pool area
- Must be reliable and present a positive, professional image
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, prioritize work and ask for further clarification when necessary.
- Ability to lift/move 25 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally
- Indoor, outdoors, and exposed to weather
- Very hot temperatures (above 90 F degrees)
- Spend time standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Lifting over 50 lbs.
- Possible exposure to changing weather conditions and chemical fumes
- Possible exposure to hazardous conditions
