Position Summary
Southern Land Company, a national real estate development and construction firm is seeking a full-time Selling Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at our Westhaven Community.
This position marries sales and leadership with storytelling and brand ambassadorship. The ideal candidate will be seasoned in cultivating affinity for both the homes within a community as well as the unique lifestyle offered by the community. If you are looking to embark on a dynamic sales role in a community with more than 3,000 homes to sell while deeply engraining yourself in and representing a best-in-class master-planned community developer and operator, keep reading below.
The 400-acre master-planned community will consist of approximately 1,200 homes featuring diverse designs in a traditional neighborhood setting. It will include a variety of trails, as well as expansive views of Longs Peak and the entire Front Range. A community town center will include a mixture of restaurants, shops, and services. The residents will have access to amenities for fitness and outdoor recreation, including a swimming pool, great lawn, and various play areas.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor team members to ensure optimal performance and achievement of desired sales results.
- Provide guidance to the Community Sales Representative on sales techniques to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure effective coordination between Community Sales Representative and other team members to facilitate timely closings and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate broker outreach and host on site events with brokers and top prospects.
- Actively seek customer traffic, referrals and other means to generate new traffic for community.
- Responsible for sales communication internally and with prospects.
- Ensure all inventory and sales models are in top shape.
- Use the CRM/lead system to track homebuyers and service their needs throughout the sales process, with customer-oriented service.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales goals.
- Place and maintain on-site signage (i.e., home site signs, inventory signs, open house signs, etc.).
- Prepare reports accurately (e.g., competition, sales, and traffic).
- Maintain knowledge of local markets, competition, Real Estate laws/rules related to the home-buying industry. Complete competitive studies for management upon request.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
- Competent to meet deadlines with a sense of urgency and efficiency.
- Skilled in handling multiple projects.
- Professional appearance and presentation.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and written communication skills.
- Experience in onsite sales for new home construction
- 5-7 years’ experience managing sales teams
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to deal professionally with customers, builder clients, and colleagues in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail, and carry multiple projects through to completion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize work, and ask for assistance and clarification when necessary.
- Ability to deal with frequent interruptions, unresolved situations, frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Professional appearance and presentation.
- Ability to keep sensitive information highly confidential.
