Position Summary
Southern Land Company, a national real estate development and construction firm is seeking a full-time Painter/Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in Las Vegas, NV.
Auric Symphony Park is offering an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing world class customer service. The successful candidate must possess excellent organizational and communication skills with a flawless attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to work independently.
Auric Symphony Park is a mixed-use project that transformed an uninhabited brownfield site in the heart of downtown Las Vegas into the vibrant, residential nucleus of well-known Symphony Park. The 480,000-square-foot, five-story project consists of 324 luxury apartment homes and 12,000 square feet of ground-level retail and restaurant space.
Designed for residents seeking quality, style, and convenience, Auric offers a robust amenities package, including a resort-style pool with two-story cabanas and an outdoor bar, a rooftop bar overlooking Symphony Park, a pet park and grooming area, a resident lounge, 24-hour concierge service, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Security features include Latch access control, which enables residents to use their phones for entry and exit; video cameras in common areas and amenity spaces; and private courtesy patrol in the evenings.

Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for painting and repairing damaged walls.
- Monitors and replaces lights as necessary.
- Repairs and/or replaces windows, latches, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, smoke alarms, baseboards, mirrors, closet doors, ceiling fans, mini blinds, faucets, sink plugs, washers, holes in the walls, and hangs drapes
- Repair all appliances and report problems to the Maintenance Supervisor or General Manager.
- Monitors and changes locks and make keys as necessary.
- Performs repairs to sinks and bathtubs, and minor repairs and replacement of bathroom tile.
- Solid teamwork skills with flexibility to adjust to changing project requirements and deadlines
- Ability to anticipate maintenance needs of property
- Must be able to climb stairs on regular basis
- Must be available to assist with after-hours emergency situations
- Must be reliable and present a positive, professional image
- Ability to keep sensitive information highly confidential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail, and carry multiple projects through to completion.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize work and ask for further clarification when necessary.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight time constraints, as well as the ability to deal with frequent interruptions, unresolved situations, frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Ability to lift/move 25 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally
- Possible exposure to changing weather conditions and chemical fumes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of practical experience
- Fair Housing Training
- Valid Driver’s license and ownership of vehicle in good repair
