About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires the ability to operate a variety of equipment and possess thorough knowledge of horticulture practices. Key responsibilities include:
- Horticultural Tasks: Performing a wide range of tasks such as weed control, pruning, pesticide applications, and irrigation adjustments to ensure attractive landscapes and optimal plant health.
- Equipment Operation: Operating small and medium-duty equipment, including vehicles and commercial trucks.
- Pest Management: Diagnosing pest issues, making recommendations, and taking remedial action as directed by management or company policy.
- Maintenance and Repair: Working knowledge of cleaning water features, repairing or replacing low-voltage lighting, and performing minor repairs on irrigation systems.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants should have:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in gardening or landscaping (preferable).
