The main role of the accounting administrative assistant is to act as support for the accounting department of our company. The daily activities of an accounting administrative assistant include supporting the accounting team, maintaining the accounting calendar, managing appointments, and completing various bookkeeping functions.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU :
- Maintain and manage global calendar for accounting deliverables across all business units-Hotels, Residential, Commercial, and Corporate.
- Assist with the organization of SharePoint folders to ensure streamlined access and systematic storage of documents
- Assist in the development and review of new accounting policies to ensure compliance and relevance across all business units
- Organize meetings for the Accounting Department, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently and appropriate documentation is prepared.
- Plan and coordinate departmental events, fostering team cohesion and supporting departmental objectives
- Provide essential administrative support to key department heads, including the Budget Manager, Hotel Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Residential Accounting, Utilities, and the VP of Accounting, ensuring they have everything they need to succeed
- Help manage a range of accounting administrative tasks to support the department's operations, including preparing documents, entering data, and performing any other assigned duties
- Provide and maintain meeting minutes
