This full-time position based in Ponte Vedra, FL, involves the critical responsibility of transporting linens between properties, ensuring they are always available for our guests. Essential Functions :

Transportation and Logistics :

Pick-up and drop-off laundry at various offices and properties using a company laundry truck.
Load / unload a variety of laundry bins, and push / pull bins on different surfaces.
Secure linens for transport.
Assist other drivers and staff with loading, unloading, and dispersing the linen.
Follow all safety procedures to ensure safe driving and be cautious of road conditions and other traffic.
Maintain laundry processing flow to manage delivery and pickup times.
Responsible for in-and-out log data.

Laundry Processing :

Perform all duties of a laundry attendant.

Wash, dry, sort, and fold linens; keep assigned linens to assigned carts by area.

Identify stained and / or ripped linen.

Practice safety.

Laundry Processing Center :

Assure that the laundry area and equipment are kept neat, clean, and organized.

Maintain a safe workplace / environment.

Ensure the outside and inside of the building are clean and organized weekly with the help of maintenance staff.

Check and replace filters on washers.

Change building A / C filters every two weeks.

Truck Maintenance :

Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections on the vehicle.

Clean laundry truck (inside and out), check oil, water, tire levels, and gas fills.

Report all vehicle accidents to the manager and CIO / Maintenance Manager immediately.

Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report injuries and unsafe work conditions to the manager.

Maintain maintenance regularly and notify the Maintenance Manager when vehicles are sent to the shop for any maintenance or repairs.

Keep track of monthly gas receipts and turn them in to the Manager on the first of each month.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work :

Full-time position. Hours vary based on business needs. Ability to work weekends and holidays is essential.

Weekly Responsibilities :

Perform required fleet vehicle inspections using Fleetio vehicle inspections as required.

Maintain warehouse upkeep in laundry production areas.

Report all vehicle accidents to WOM immediately.

Maintain maintenance regularly and notify WOM when vehicles are sent to the shop for any maintenance or repairs.

Meet with WOM to discuss challenges and opportunities.

Maintain mileage reports in Paylocity.

Requirements

Requirements :

Commercial laundry experience preferred.

Must pass MVR.

Strong organizational skills.

Ability to multi-task.

Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Physical / Mental / Environmental :

Physical demands : Sitting - 70%, Walking / Standing - 30%

Lifting : Ability to lift to 25 lbs. occasionally.

Vision : Long periods of close-up work on a computer screen.

Mental demands : Problem-solving, interpreting, and meeting deadlines.

Environmental : Climate-controlled office space.
