Job Title: Marketing and Design Assistant

Reports To: Marketing Specialist

Serving some 10,000 customers from coast-to-coast, our product line of over 35,000 parts covers items from the front of the tractor to the back and everything in between and beyond. Known as America's Ag Parts Supplier, SMA is headquartered in Jonesboro, Arkansas, with additional distribution centers in Corsicana, Texas; Fresno, California; and Des Moines, Iowa.

Essential Functions: The Marketing and Design Assistant is a versatile and hands-on role designed to support multiple departments by managing print production, literature, design/layout, and marketing collateral publishing/shipping.

Duties:

• Design and layout of marketing material.
• Printing production, operation, and support of the Sales Team.
• Oversees marketing materials, packaging, and shipping.
• Develop and maintain online product information including product photography, descriptions, and specifications.
• Compile, organize, and create product data within the Product Information System by utilizing internal and external (supplier) information.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent, college degree (preferred).
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite – Excel.
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Basic knowledge of print production processes and equipment.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 25-50 pounds and occasionally over 50 pounds.

Skills:

· Able to establish priorities and to plan, coordinate and monitor own work plan.

· Demonstrates ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external customers.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

· A basic understanding of farm equipment brands, types, and uses (preferred).

· Ability to communicate technical product matters in a simple and clear manner.

· Ability to think creatively, and with conceptual design.

· Demonstrated experience working with Hootsuite, or other social media collaborator.

Travel:

· Less than 5% travel in a year

The schedule is 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday – Friday onsite at the Jonesboro, Arkansas location.
