Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Surveyor/ plumbing layout technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in surveying and plumbing layout utilizing trimble total station , with proficiency in various surveying software. As a Surveyor/plumbing layout technician, you will play a crucial role in collecting data, performing measurements, and preparing detailed reports that inform project development, plumbing rough-in and execution of large construction projects through out Florida ( mainly Tampa area).
Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys to determine property boundaries, exact plumbing rough-in, and other features.
- Set up, adjust, and operate Trimble survey equipment including total station, data collector, and GPS equipment.
- Utilize equipment such as Trimble total station to gather accurate data.
- Draft survey plans and reports using software tools including AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Collaborate with civil engineering teams to ensure project specifications are met.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards in all surveying activities.
- Maintain accurate records of surveys, including field notes and sketches.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase by verifying site conditions and plumbing rough-in locations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in surveying with strong knowledge of the trimble total station.
- Proficiency in using surveying software such as AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with Trimble equipment for data collection is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in measurements and reports.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on various projects.
- A valid driver's license will be required for travel to job sites.
