POSITION: Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound Technician

SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound Technician (General a PLUS!). Team members must be able to work well independently, possess excellent bedside manner with patients, and communicate well with staff and physicians.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion Certificate from Accredited Cardiovascular Ultrasound School
• ARDMS/CCI Credentials in appropriate registry (*unless recent graduate)
• BLS Certification
• VALID Driver's License

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Carry weight up to 50 lbs
• Standing for extended periods of time
• May require strenuous physical effort while assisting patients on/off exam tables

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations to assist in diagnosing and treating patients.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient history during procedures.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and ensure compliance with medical protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in interventional cardiology and emergency medicine settings.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to enhance diagnostic evaluations.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for optimal performance.
• Obtain and maintain Registry and BLS certification and a valid driver's license.
