Skilled Painter

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our paint team in executing high-quality painting projects. A Skilled Painter will help oversee all aspects of on-site painting operations, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and coordinate with other trades (divisions) as necessary. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and expertise in both interior and exterior painting.

Responsibilities:
- Meet project deadlines and client expectations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor work progress and quality to ensure craftsmanship meets project standards & client expectations
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to address project needs and changes
- Order and maintain inventory of materials, tools, and equipment needed for projects
- Perform inspections of work sites to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions
- Promote a positive work environment and teamwork among co-workers

Requirements:

- 3 years in the painting industry
- In-depth knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to read blueprints, follow design plans, and execute project specifications
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable & consistent transportation
- Ability to pass a drug test

- Able to lift 50lbs or more and climb ladders
- This position typically requires working on commercial construction sites or residential properties, sometimes in challenging weather conditions
- Occasional travel may be required depending on project locations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
