Nurse Practitioner – Full-Time

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team and provide specialized care to our patients in our comfortable clinic setting.

What we’re looking for in an ideal team member:

· License: Nurse Practitioner license in Michigan

· Strong understanding of pharmacology

· Experience developing treatment plans for patients

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals

What you’ll typically be doing:

Clinical Care Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' health by interviewing and performing physical examination and health assessments including obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories
  • Determine abnormal conditions by ordering diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and laboratory studies and interpreting test results
  • Perform therapeutic procedures
  • Prescribe medications and treatments for patients
  • Provide care management and develop individualized treatment plans for each patient,
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Document patient care services by charting in patient records
  • Provide patient education regarding pain management techniques, procedures , medications and strategies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with pain-related conditions.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information as stipulated in the HIPAA Privacy Rules

Case Load Management

  • Maintain an independent case load per practice template and assist with case load coverage during team member absences
  • Comply with internal policies regarding corporate compliance, billing, coding, and documentation
