About The Job
The Lead Technologist, MRI will perform all aspects of MRI, providing compassion and comfort to all patients. The incumbent will work closely with the MRI supervisor in overseeing the daily operations of the MRI department, will coordinate staff development, and will perform other administrative duties to support departmental operations.

About The Job
The Lead Technologist, MRI will perform all aspects of MRI, providing compassion and comfort to all patients. The incumbent will work closely with the MRI supervisor in overseeing the daily operations of the MRI department, will coordinate staff development, and will perform other administrative duties to support departmental operations.
What You’ll Do
- Review patient medical information and reconcile physician requests with exams ordered.
- Perform all aspects of the MRI examination including, but not limited to, orthopedic, cardiac, abdominal, lung, breast, and other MRI scans.
- Assure a quality exam is presented to Radiologist for interpretation and complete appropriate follow up paperwork, as required.
- Demonstrate proficiency with computer systems, such as EPIC, PACS and scheduling applications.
- Coordinate teaching and training new personnel.
- Perform all MRI exams according to department protocols.
- Utilize patient safety equipment to effectively move patients.
- Completion of two years of Radiology Technology training in an AMA approved school to meet the requirements for registry by the ARRT in Radiology or equivalent training required.
- ARRT(R) certification required.
- ARRT(MR) certification or obtained within 1 year from hire date required.
- State of NH Board of Medical Imaging Licensure required.
- A minimum of three-five (3-5) years of MRI experience required.
- Skill in Microsoft Office Suite, most specifically Word, Excel and Outlook required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, such as EPIC, Life Images and PACS required.
