The opportunity
The Mail Services Team at Southern New Hampshire University's campus in Manchester, NH is looking for Mail Clerk to work onsite and provide support with sorting/processing of incoming and outgoing university mail and packages. You will report to our Manager of Mail Services for this temporary part-time role that will run from 4/28/25-8/29/25.
What you'll do:
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing university mail and packages
- Customer service-answering questions, retrieving student packages, stamp sales, mailing of letters and packages
- Help with deliveries and pick-ups, on and off campus
- Perform general office tasks and use mail room technology – copying, scanning, emailing, and phone answering
What we're looking for:
- 7-12 months of work experience in customer service
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent of experience in lieu of degree acceptable
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. max lifting; 10 lbs. max carrying frequently using proper lifting techniques and being on feet for long periods of time.
- Currently hold a valid driver's license and be eligible to be insured by the university's auto insurance carrier to drive on campus when needed.

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $14.01 - $22.43. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $15.49 - $20.95.Salary : $14 - $22
