The Opportunity
Reporting to the Sr. Director of People Experience and Belonging, the part-time People Experience & Belonging Specialist will support employee engagement, belonging and retention projects for marginalized populations across the university. You will provide support for all employee networks.
In this Role You'll Get To:
- Guide approved networks through the launch and implementation process.
- Provide new networks with assistance in defining the purpose, goals, and action plans for new networks.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding for new employee network officers to ensure they have the necessary skills and tools to lead.
- Collaborate with employee network leaders to provide support in accomplishing their plans.
- Develop and implement communication strategies and materials to promote employee network activities, events, and achievements.
- Manage employee network Power App, ensuring it remains up-to-date with relevant information and resources.
- Participate in employee network governance meetings to provide insights and support for strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with employee networks to develop and implement engaging activities and programs for Employee Appreciation Week.
- Deliver presentations to individual contributors about the benefits and goals of employee networks.
- Promote the purpose and goals of employee network programs to enhance participation and understanding.
- Provide employee network support and training.
- Support a scalable employee network strategy and provide strategic oversight and governance over all recognized employee networks.
- Manage the operating budget and financial resources allocation for employee network
What we're Looking For:
- One year experience with Employee Resource Groups, Clubs, student Groups, Affinity Groups, or Belonging Groups
- Associate's degree
