What are the responsibilities and job description for the Call Center Representative position at Southern NH Internal Medicine?
At Southern NH Internal Medicine our Call Center Representatives are the first voice patients encounter. We know how important your role is to our patient's whether it's the first call in or their family has been reaching out to us for care for years.
In your role you will be responsible for all aspects of patient access. This will include registering new patients, answering inbound calls, directing incoming patient text messages and entering insurance and demographic information into patient charts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Call intake, booking, patient registration, call routing etc.
- Interacts with patients regarding complaints for effective and immediate response and resolution. Refers to Supervisor/Practice Manager as appropriate.
- Receives incoming telephone calls. Takes message and appropriately routes them.
- Maintains providers schedules, optimizing effective scheduling of appointments.
- Interacts and communicates professionally with co-workers, management and patients.
- Assists in developing and implementing systems to support effective and accurate registration of patients. Makes recommendations to increase efficiency of patient care or administrative functioning of area.

Predictable scheduling - 8am-5pm Monday though Friday, NO overtime, and a rotated Saturday (half day during the week - about every 6 weeks)
