Duties
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring accurate patient records and authorizations are maintained,
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and insurance information.
- Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details.
- Assist in managing office operations by maintaining organized files and records.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth patient flow and address any concerns.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with both patients and staff.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry and filing tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical office or imaging center setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare environment.
- Experience in providing administrative support or customer service will be considered an asset.
