- Utilize medical coding systems such as ICD-10 for accurate documentation.
- Provide administrative support using software to complete prior authorizations
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare providers to facilitate care.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support the front desk operations by greeting patients and answering inquiries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical collection processes and administrative support tasks.
- Familiarity with medical coding standards, particularly ICD-10.
- Experience using practice management software
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
