Painter Helper

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques, including industrial painting and trim carpentry. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively on construction sites, ensuring high-quality finishes on all projects. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and restoring existing structures while adhering to safety standards.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
• Apply paint using various methods, including airless paint spraying and brush techniques.
• Perform trim carpentry tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of painted areas.
• Read and interpret a tape measure.
• Utilize power tools safely and effectively during the painting process.
• Collaborate with the owner to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Restore and maintain existing painted surfaces to extend their lifespan.
• Adhere to safety protocols on construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience.
• Proven experience in painting in general.
• Knowledge of trim carpentry
• Basic math skills for measuring and reading a tape measure.
• Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation in a construction setting.
• Attention to detail on all projects.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
