Pet Bather

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and bathing services. As a Dog Bather, you will play a vital role in ensuring that dog is clean and feels their best while also maintaining a clean and safe environment. This position requires hands-on experience with various breeds, sizes of dogs, and being able to work well with others, as well as excellent customer service skills.

Duties

• Bathe and dry dogs according to breed standards and owner preferences.
• Handle dogs safely and effectively during grooming sessions to ensure their comfort and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area, grooming tools, and equipment.
• Provide basic animal care, including brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning.
• Uphold high standards of customer service by creating a welcoming environment for both dogs and their owners.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in animal handling or care is preferred, including roles such as kennel staff or veterinary assistant.
• Knowledge of pet grooming techniques is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• Experience with various animals, including dogs, cats, and equine is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential.
• Ability to be reliable and have adequate transportation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
