Southern Pools and Spas is seeking experienced Concrete Finishers to join our team. We specialize in the installation of above-ground pools, in-ground pools, stealth pools, and fiberglass pools, and we’re looking for dependable individuals with concrete expertise to help bring our projects to life.
Responsibilities:
- Perform concrete finishing tasks, including setting forms, pouring, leveling, and smoothing concrete for pool installations.
- Collaborate with the installation team to integrate concrete work with pool structures.
- Execute excavation and site preparation for pool installations.
- Assist with the setup of pool equipment, such as pumps, filters, and heaters.
- Ensure concrete work meets company standards, project specifications, and customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week.
- Work is made up if rained out.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in concrete finishing, including knowledge of tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with excavation equipment and tools (e.g., bobcat, skid steer) is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and performing manual labor.
- Dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
