Responsibilities
Bartenders are responsible for positive guest interactions while providing an exceptional dining experience and providing the entire restaurant with alcoholic beverages. This includes:
Bartenders are responsible for positive guest interactions while providing an exceptional dining experience and providing the entire restaurant with alcoholic beverages. This includes:
- Mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of food and beverage products.
- Guiding guests through the menus while demonstrating knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
- Handle assigned house bank and follow cash handling procedures.
- Suggesting items based on probing questions to understand what guests like or dislike.
- Providing pleasant and timely service.
- Anticipating guest needs and ensuring they are set up for a smooth dining experience.
Requirements
- must be able to obtain an Alcohol Safety certification up to 30 days after hire date.
- Positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work the hours dictated by the business and schedule set in place by the Manager; Weekend, evening, and holiday work may be necessary.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow regulations regarding age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.
- Some locations require Pour Permits, depending on count.
