Milton’s Cuisine and Cocktails - Brand Description
Nestled in the five points of Crabapple’s Historic District lies the distinctly unique Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails. With its comfortable & quaint setting, Milton’s entices your senses with its inviting atmosphere and artful edge. Keeping with the rural character of North Fulton, the 150-year-old farmhouse & 1930’s cottage was preserved and restored with classic elements and charming details.
The restaurant hostess is the first employee to interact with arriving guests as they enter the restaurant. It is the job of the hostess to greet arriving guests, welcome them into the restaurant and seat them. The guests receive their first impression of the service of the restaurant by their exchange with the hostess. Duties include:
- Monitor the opening dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables, estimating wait times for guests, monitoring the guest wait list, and ensuring that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting.
- Answer the telephone and book reservations or answer inquiries.
- Assist with floor planning maneuvering to accommodate large parties
- Ensure that all guests entering and leaving the restaurant are addressed with a greeting or farewell.
- Escalate guest concerns that are brought to your attention to the manager.
- No previous restaurant experience required.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations.
- Friendly demeanor.
- Ability to effectively communicate (fluency in English required)
