Propane Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Propane Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering propane to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, mechanically inclined, and holds the necessary licenses for propane handling and vehicle operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane bobtail truck to deliver propane to customers on assigned routes.
• Accurately complete delivery tickets, meter readings, and customer paperwork.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain delivery logs.
• Monitor tank levels and advise customers on safe propane use and maintenance.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL (Class B or A) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CETP certification(s)
• Prior experience in propane delivery or service
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal propane safety regulations
