What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Southern Resort Group?
Must have open availability and be willing to be on call for Maintenance emergencies.
- Responsible for ensuring the day-to-day maintenance operations run smoothly.
- Responsible for keeping accurate records of replacement items, parts, and supplies and reporting to the manager so owners get charged and SRG gets reimbursed appropriately.
- Responsible for inspecting common areas for safety and ensuring all OSHA regulations are met.
- Responsible for keeping an accurate Preventative Maintenance schedule and ensuring they are getting done properly.
- Responsible for keeping track of maintenance tasks completed and ensuring rooms are blocked as infrequently as possible due to maintenance issues (detailing why when they are blocked).
- Responsible for updating and maintaining the quality of furnishings in the unit.
- Responsible for communicating with Housekeeping, Restaurant, and Concierge daily in order to fulfill any maintenance requests and following up when tasks are completed..
- Responsible for communicating with outside vendors when necessary to ensure tasks are completed and contracts are fulfilled.
- Responsible for overseeing the pool area and making sure the water is tested daily and balanced appropriately to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Preferred: OSHA/HVAC/CPO Certifications
