Southern RV in McDonough, GA has an immediately available RV Parts Department Receiving/Shipping/Inventory Management position!
This is for our state-of-the art 11.3 acre dealership on Interstate 75 just south of Atlanta. We are a privately owned full-service dealership that specializes in all types of RVs. This position requires a cheerful attitude and respect for others. Reliability and the drive to assist with duties regardless of the work environment. Applicant must be capable of passing a drug screen. Applicant must also have reliable transportation and be able to work a flex schedule that could include any day between Monday and Saturday. The applicant must also have a current valid driver's license and the ability of getting to and from work.
Pay is commensurate with proficiency, character, and PERFORMANCE. Negotiated hourly pay with performance-oriented bonuses and/or commissions.

This position requires the ability of lifting 50 pounds, standing and/or sitting for 2 hours at any given time on uneven surfaces, the ability to climb a ladder, and be exposed to varying temperatures. The position is responsible for ensuring an orderly and efficient warehouse space. This position directly interacts with third party delivery services to receive and catalog incoming parts. Keen organizational abilities are a MUST in this position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintains appropriate housekeeping in work area
- Prepares documents for inventory management and accounting
- Uses a computer system to review, receive, organize, label, and account for parts.
- Opens all shipments, document with pictures & emails to team.
- Repackage, label, & store in bin location. Then email information to team.
- Checks for damaged goods and follows procedures for rectifying problems
- Heavy email, CRM, and spreadsheet usage
- Assists with loading and unloading of product and supplies
- Receives used warranty parts from tech, locates, and emails team.
- Purges expired warranty parts per schedule
- Updates computer system (CDK Lightspeed EVO) for real time information
- Will operate hand trucks, dollies and other mechanical and electric lift equipment
- Familiar with warehouse layout, item identification and warehouse and storage procedures
- Able to pull stock and materials as required
- Will prepare outgoing overnight and UPS packages
- Follows all safety and security procedures and notifies supervisor of potential hazards promptly
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Conditions may include shop floor, warehouse and shipping/receiving. Exposure to dust, dirt, toner, ink and other environmental factors is possible.
- Repetitive motion is required; may require twisting/bending/climbing
- May lift up to 50 lbs. periodically
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must have dependable transportation.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English with good grammar
- Ability to work without constant supervision
- Ability to work individually & as part of team
- Ability to accept additional tasks, duties and/or direction from management
Essential Job Skills:
- High school education or equivalent
- Working knowledge of activities, methods, procedures and policies of the shop
- Comprehensive product knowledge
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient computer skills (Amateur skills negated)
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
- Forklift experience/certification preferred or ability to be certified required

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
