Security Guard (Armed)

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and conflict management, as well as the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. Candidates with a background in law enforcement or military service are encouraged to apply.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
• Manage conflicts effectively, de-escalating situations as needed.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding safety and security.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment and conflict management techniques is a plus.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff and visitors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $8.00 - $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
