We are seeking a motivated and experienced Car Wash General Manager to lead our team, oversee daily operations, and ensure a superior experience for our customers.
Job Summary:
The Car Wash Manager is responsible for managing the overall operations of the facility. This includes supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining equipment, managing inventory, and driving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations:
- Oversee the daily operations of the car wash to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Monitor and manage car wash equipment, overseeing its maintenance and repair to ensure it is operational, well-maintained, and performing optimally with minimal downtime.
- Implement and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise car wash staff, including attendants and detailers.
- Create staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and manage labor costs.
- Provide ongoing training and development to enhance staff performance and customer service skills.
Customer Service:
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving customer complaints and concerns promptly.
- Develop and implement customer service protocols to enhance the customer experience.
Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and other necessary materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers for ordering and stock control.
Financial Management:
- Track financial performance, including revenue and profitability, and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotions and advertising campaigns.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations by way of regular safety inspections.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a management role, preferably in the car wash, automotive service, or retail industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on resolving issues and enhancing the customer experience.
- Solid organizational, multi-task, and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of car wash equipment and maintenance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of management experience, with experience in the car wash or automotive industry considered advantageous.
- High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred.
