Southern Exteriors is a leading new home and remodeling company specializing in turnkey exterior services. From siding installation, custom millworks, to residential roofing and gutters, we successfully manage thousands of projects throughout the Southeast each year.
Position Summary
The Front Desk Receptionist is a customer-facing role and the face of the Company to those coming into or calling our office. In addition to greeting guests and answering calls, this key role also acts administrative support to the office. The Front Desk must also collaborate between customers and our Supply House, assisting with the selection of materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Answer incoming calls and handle appropriately
- Greet all guests, including customers, contractors, applicants, vendors, etc…
- Maintain the office; coordinate with cleaning personnel and maintain breakroom, snack/vending and any other general office maintenance requests
- Support sales team with entries into CRM
- Liaise with Supply House and Customers to assist with selection of products
- Represent and maintain professional composure and properly represent the business
- Support large meetings and assist in preparation of materials needed
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of office experience
- Construction exteriors background/knowledge helpful
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Friendly, welcoming and positive communication style
- Strong customer service & excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Experience working as a team member toward shared goals.
- Strong computer skills including MS Word and Excel (Google Docs & Sheets)
- Experience working in Quickbooks, Accumatica, or similar ERP systems strongly preferred.
- Work Ethic & Dependability, a positive attitude and attention to detail are necessary for success.
