Comprehensive Pain Consultants of the Carolinas, a PartnerCare affiliated company, is seeking a Board-Certified Advance Practice Provider (APP) to work with a well-respected Pain Management practice in Murphy, NC.

How You Contribute and Succeed
As a remarkable Nurse Practitioner, you will be experienced with pain and medication management and will be able to provide patient centered care with high patient satisfaction!
- Collaborate with the Physician and other Providers to create a safe, balanced, and patient focused approach to pain management and treatment plan
- Assesses the physical and mental condition of patients by performing and obtaining comprehensive or problem-focused physical examinations and medical histories.
- Orders, collects, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and other diagnostic tests to assess patient problems and health care needs.
- Maintains (accurately, timely and complete) appropriate Electronic Health records detailing the patient’s treatment plans and outcomes. Initiates timely consultation and referral when the problem exceeds scope of practice and/or expertise.
- Counsels patients and families regarding medical processes, management of the health illness/condition, medication, nutrition, and health promotion. Counsels patients about drug regimens and possible side effects or interactions with other substances such as food supplements, over the counter medications and herbal remedies.
- Review patient documents to measure the effectiveness and quality of patient care.
Our practice focuses on taking care of the patient with a comprehensive plan, delivering high customer service, keeping patients safe and well-informed and reducing patients' pain as much as possible.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program (AANP or NCCPA Certification)
- Maintains current and unrestricted state license with a DEA with Schedule II
- Experienced preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- CPR certification for Health Care Providers
- ACLS and BLS certification required.
