Schedule: 

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

• Friday: 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM with the option for overtime until 4:30 PM as needed.

Location: Raleigh, NC

Salary: $18 hourly

Position Overview: We are looking for skilled Straight Stair Builders to facilitate the production of straight stair systems, adhering to Southern Staircase quality standards and ensuring timely project completion.

What You'll Do:

• Build stair systems within set timeframes, complying with Southern Staircase quality standards.
• Use templates and read measurements to position parts and subassemblies correctly.
• Assemble components, ensuring proper fit and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain tools and equipment, and keep the workspace clean and safe.
• Request materials as needed and contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results.

What You'll Need:

• Proficient woodworking skills and the ability to operate related tools like power saws and CNC machines.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math accurately.
• Experience in a production environment with some heavy lifting required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and access all areas of the warehouse.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Some travel may be required for this position (<5%).
