FLEXIBLE, SAFETY-MINDED UPBEAT NANNY FOR A FAMILY WITH THREE KIDS B3, G18mo, B4mo

This loving family with three children, 3, 18mo, and 4mo are taking the leap to relocate to the Nashville area from Miami, Fl. They live an active and healthy lifestyle and love to be outside, go for walks, spend hours at the playground, swim, and take their children to enrichment classes. Mom will be home most of the time and Dad works from home, so a team-player will be needed to tackle the day with 3 kids under 3! Their nanny is sadly unable to make the move with them, so they’re looking for a long-term, loving, and active person who will thrive in their busy and joyful home!

SCHEDULE
Hours: Monday – Friday 7/8 AM – 3/5 PM, totaling 40 hours/week
*Flexibility needed for occasional overtime
*Flexibility to travel for up to 8 weeks during the summer
Start date: Week of March 31, 2025
Duration: 2 years ideally

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Tend to the children’s daily needs and ensure that the family’s set routine/schedule is implemented.
- Bring a joyful and upbeat mindset to work and be very sweet and tender with the children.
- Tag team the day with mom, who often is with one of the kids. Big brother will be in school in the Fall, so most days will be with both, or one of, the youngest.
- Adaptable to fluctuations in the day to day, and open to taking direction from mom about the format for each day.
- Work comfortably with involved parents.
- Flexible with the schedule, being able to stay later for a date night or work longer days when the parents travel without the kids.
- Maintaining the tidiness of the home and picking up after play or mealtime, and ensuring the children’s rooms and play areas remain organized. No deep cleaning.
- Collaborating with the parents to complete tasks like the kid’s laundry and prepping basic kid meals such as eggs, pasta, cutting fruit, steaming veggies & browning ground beef, and staying open-minded to helping with other kid-related tasks as they come up.
- Swim/monitor swimming with the kids, the older kids are in swim lessons.
- Be dog-friendly, the family has two large, friendly doodle-mixes.
- Driving the children as-needed to school, parks, playdates, and more.
- Travel with the family to their summer home in New York State for a up to 8 weeks starting the summer of 2026. This arrangement can be flexible depending on what the candidate can do.

A bonus for this family would be someone with a degree in education or teaching experience to provide educational enrichment to their children with planned activities that are creative and play-based. They have previously been in classes and programs but are very open to having this in-house.

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Minimum 2 years of nanny experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with ages 5mo – 4 years old
- Able to offer flexibility in the schedule/availability during the work week
- Able to travel in the future
- Have a vehicle to use for work purposes, mileage reimbursed
- Have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Non-smoker/vaper
- Bonus to have a ECE degree or preschool teaching experience

COMPENSATION
Hourly: $25 - $33/hour depending on qualifications
PTO, Paid holidays sick days: offered
Health insurance stipend: negotiable
