*TEMPORARY* DEPENDABLE LIVE-IN NANNY NEEDED FOR ONE CHILD IN THE TENNESSEE COUNTRYSIDE

A warm and welcoming couple in Waverly, TN are looking for a temporary nanny to cover their current nanny’s maternity leave with their sweet 2 year old boy. This role is live-in only during scheduled care periods, meaning the nanny will not reside in the home between coverage dates. Their home is located 70 miles west of Nashville in a sweet, quaint town that is off the beaten path, surrounded by rolling hills and greenery. It’s truly a sweet little retreat! Mom and dad both work in the music industry and tour with artists, which sometimes means their schedules overlap and they need 24/7 care for their little guy during these times.

SCHEDULE:

The following dates will be a day-shift only:
Sunday 4/6- Afternoon – midnight, parents home after local show in Nashville

The following dates will be 24/7 care for when both parents are out of town:

• Wednesday 4/9 - Saturday 4/12 (3 overnights, 4 days)
• Thursday, 4/24 – Sunday, 4/27 (3 overnights, 4 days)
• Wednesday, 5/8 – Sunday 5/11 (4 overnights, 5 days)
• Wednesday 5/21 – Saturday 5/24 (4 overnights, 5 days)
• Sunday 6/22 - Sunday 6/29 (7 overnights, 8 days)
• Wednesday 7/2 – Saturday 7/5 (3 overnights, 4 days)
• Wednesday 7/16 – Saturday 7/19 (3 overnights, 4 days)

THE DETAILS

This small-town family is seeking a dependable, team-oriented nanny who enjoys nature and actively engaging with their energetic toddler. Their child loves outdoor adventures and community activities in nearby Dickson, TN. With both parents deeply committed to their careers and frequent work-related travel, reliability is essential—last-minute cancellations or inconsistent availability are not feasible.

The temporary nanny will provide full-charge, week-long care, stepping in as a trusted presence while the parents are away. Emotional engagement, including cuddles, boo-boo care, and ensuring nutritional needs are met, is required. The family prioritizes making their nanny feel comfortable and welcomed in their home. They understand the demands of 24/7 shifts and support balancing personal tasks, including running errands with their child, or bringing a trained pet, as they have a dog as well.

REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- 2 years experience with two year olds
- Able to provide overnight/24-7 care
- Open to relocating to their residence during for care dates
- Comfortable with easy pet care (terrier mix, need to make sure he has food/water when both parents are gone)
- Excellent communicator both with updates about the ins/outs of the role
- Valid driver’s license clean driving record
- Open to using personal car sometimes, most times a parent’s car will be available for errands/outings with the child
- Reliable and understanding of the commitment needed

COMPENSATION:

Compensation will be based on full day and half day rates, and to be determined with the candidate.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 80 per week
