Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Research Assistant to support our Research Coordinators in their day-to-day operations of clinical research studies. This role involves assisting with lab-related tasks, data entry, patient interactions, scheduling, and ensuring all research activities are well-organized and compliant with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, processing, and handling laboratory specimens as required for research studies.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate, up-to-date research records and databases.
- Help coordinate study visits, including scheduling and preparing necessary documentation.
- Ensure proper organization of research materials, including protocols, patient files, and study logs.
- Support patient interactions by explaining study procedures, obtaining consent, and ensuring participant comfort.
- Assist in monitoring study compliance and adherence to research protocols.
- Collaborate with the research team to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, science, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with data entry and database management.
- Ability to interact professionally with patients and research participants.
- Familiarity with clinical research or healthcare settings is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic data management systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
