Plant Manager/Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plant Manager to oversee our Agricultural Chemical packaging operations. This is a Hands-On position, the Plant Manager should also be a skilled forklift operator and understand inbound and outbound trucking and logistics. The position is considered critical to our Company organization, and a generous incentive/bonus program is in place for the successful Plant Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production and packaging processes, and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of automated manufacturing principles or bulk processing and the ability to manage supply chain systems effectively.

Duties

• Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring production, packaging and logistics goals are met while maintaining quality standards.
• Develop and implement production planning strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain management and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Manage the processing and packaging processes, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality control measures.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices in production and packaging processes, logistics, and safety protocols.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plant Manager or Supervisor in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of assembly processes, and production planning techniques.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to operate a forklift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
