Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and product recommendations
- Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance (approved hat/headgear required)
- Utilize various knives and cutting tools to accurately cut and trim meat products according to specifications and customer orders
- Grind meats and prepare sausage
- Stock, rotate, and maintain fresh products in display cases
- Inspect meat and prepare products to ensure quality and freshness
- Assist with food preparation (no cooking required)
- Keep work areas clean and organized, following strict food safety standards
- Assist with store opening, closing, and housekeeping duties
- Stay informed about our products and weekly specials
- Be flexible—willing to work different shifts, including weekends
Qualifications
- A passion for providing extraordinary service
- 2 years of meat cutting experience
- 2 years in the food industry or kitchen work
- Knowledgeable about various cuts of meat and proper cooking techniques
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs (most lifting is between 40-50 lbs)
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old
