Description
Position Summery/Objective:
This position will primarily be responsible for diagnosing machine issues, PM services, and mechanically repairing/servicing equipment both maintained by Southern Sweepers and Scrubbers, as well as equipment sent to Southern Sweepers and Scrubbers for repair/service. This position can be field based, shop based, or a combination of field and shop, depending on the needs of Southern Sweepers and Scrubbers. This position reports to the Service Manager in their respective location.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Repair of Equipment
- PM of Equipment
- Equipment Diagnostics
- Safety in all aspect of job, including, but not limited to driving, ergonomics, OSHA, etc.
- Recommending to customer and Service Manager on repairs
- Creating Quotes
- Creating Billable and Non-Billable Repair Orders
- Purchase request for parts needed
- Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications
Experience, Educational, and Ability Requirements:
- Associates degree preferred but not required
- REQUIRED - Demonstrated experience in a mechanical skill (i.e., diesel, forklift, Internal Combustible engines, electrical, etc.)
- Safe Driving Record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Basic Computer Skills
- Attention to Detail
