Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the operations of our multi-sport indoor facility, which features pickleball, golf, baseball, and softball. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, and managing staff, scheduling, and facility maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Operations & Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment.
- Manage facility scheduling for court and field rentals, training sessions, team practices, and special events.
- Enforce facility policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility repairs and maintenance.
Customer Service & Membership Management:
- Provide excellent customer service to players, coaches, teams, and visitors.
- Handle inquiries, bookings, and membership registrations.
- Resolve customer concerns and ensure a positive experience for all visitors.
Staff Management & Training:
- Hire, train, and supervise facility staff, including trainers, coaches, and front desk personnel.
- Develop staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all activities.
Business Development & Marketing:
- Assist with marketing efforts, including social media, community outreach, and promotions.
- Support programs, leagues, tournaments, and camps to increase facility usage.
- Build relationships with local sports organizations, schools, and clubs to drive partnerships and participation.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities:
- Follow budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial goals are met.
- Process payments, invoices, and financial reports.
- Monitor inventory and order necessary supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sports facility management, recreation management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Experience with scheduling software and facility management tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of pickleball, golf, baseball, and softball programs is preferred.
