Responsibilities:
- performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications for cloud computing environments
- Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies
- Begins to influence department's strategy
- Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction
- Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
- The primary goal of this role is to ensure the customer's vision for deployment is successfully transitioned into the most appropriate solution design that maintains architectural integrity of existing applications and integrations
- This person will work in close collaboration with a variety of potential and existing Salesforce users to articulate the value proposition of our consulting and training services, understand business needs and create solutions or suggestions
- This individual will map to a portfolio of initiatives and act as a subject matter expert to assist with the successful delivery of multiple customer engagements in parallel, with a high level of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with Architects and development teams across the enterprise
- Initiate technical reviews of Salesforce quarterly releases, educate appropriate teams of impacts and testing strategies
- Translate business objectives into execution strategy (tactical and strategic), lead and successfully communicate the strategy through strong collaboration and agile leadership
- Anticipate and aggressively remove obstacles that slow down or prevent programs from delivering on program objectives
- Drive for clarity to keep the team moving forward
- Develop strong partnerships with technology and functional leaders to drive focus on the strategic program objectives and optimize program delivery
- Monitor and resolve end-to-end process for things like: repeating pain points/sticking points, blockers
- Build plans and mitigations to address pain points to ensure the success of the cloud and/or program
- Innovate and contribute to the evolution of the company Salesforce Center methodology and Salesforce Enterprise Governance program
- Assist with initial review of Vision and Scope, Conceptual Architecture Diagrams and Order of Magnitude estimates for feasibility & considerations
- Understand the Business Backlog
- Review requirements and advises Project and Program Managers on potential impacts and system considerations
- Development experience using Eclipse, Apex, VisualForce, XML, HTML, SOQL, and SQL.
- 5 years of strong technical Salesforce experience
- Database experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, or DB2Development
- experience using CSS and XSLT
- Experience with SOAP/WSDL and REST APIs
- Experience using Eclipse/ANT, TFS, Jenkins and iServer
- Understanding of code tools such as Checkmarx
- Experience with RWD frameworks (ie; HTML5, Bootstrap, Foundation) Strong understanding of Heroku
- Experience with Lightning
- Experience and/or Lightning ComponentsSalesforce.com
