Southern Team Automall in Roanoke, Virginia, is seeking candidates for the Facilities Maintenance Manager position.
The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for daily repairs, upkeep, and general maintenance of the various facilities under their domain. The primary role is to ensure all maintenance operations are completed while taking care of things such as building maintenance, planning maintenance, and work orders.
- Performs many diverse duties including managing Janitorial Operations and staff.
- Must be a self-starter, be comfortable managing people and projects, and be proactive
- Plan, organize, supervise, coordinate, and control the activities of building operations and maintenance functions which are necessary in maintaining the physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical systems, utilities and grounds in an operative and safe working condition.
- The leader is accountable for maintaining an effective department; for administering labor and material controls; for training, coaching, evaluating, and disciplining of maintenance personnel in safety and for effective management practices.
- Coordinate quality customer service activities, purchasing, payroll, and budgeting processes.
- Participate in the work activities of assigned teams through providing assistance, serving as the technical resource and participating in the work as a member of the team.
- Responsible for coordinating the delivery of high quality services that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of personnel.

Preferred Candidates Will Have:
Maintenance Management - minimum of 5 years' experience
Bachelor's Level Degree is preferred. Equivalent experience in facilities leadership may be considered in lieu of degree.
Education Level
Bachelor's Level Degree - Experience in position and/or certifications may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience
Required: Previous experience, Maintenance Management - 5 years
License
Required: Valid Driver's License with excellent driving record.
Skills
Required: Mgmt of Financial Resources, Mgmt of Material Resources, Mgmt of Staff Resources, Project Management, Quality Control Analysis, Service Orientation, Speaking, Writing; Above-average computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
