A car sales team leader is responsible for managing and motivating a team of automotive salespeople, overseeing day-to-day sales operations, setting and achieving sales targets, coaching team members on best practices, and ensuring customer satisfaction by leading the sales process while adhering to dealership policies and procedures; key duties include recruiting, training, performance evaluation, lead generation, and maintaining a strong sales pipeline to maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:
- Set and achieve individual and team sales goals, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Motivate and coach sales team members to optimize performance and close deals effectively.
- Conduct regular sales meetings to discuss strategies, address challenges, and share best practices.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for sales staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.

Team Management:
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new sales personnel.
- Assign leads and manage sales pipeline to ensure efficient customer follow-up.
- Monitor individual performance metrics and provide feedback to team members.
- Address performance issues and implement corrective action when necessary.

- Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, from initial contact to vehicle delivery.
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly.
