What are the responsibilities and job description for the Career/Technical Education Instructor - Practical Nursing position at Southern Tech?
Purpose of Job: To ensure each Practical Nursing enrollee progresses to the level necessary to attain related licensure and gainful employment. Responsible for the administration, coordination, supervision, and implementation of the full-time practical nursing program at SouthernTech while maintaining compliance with State of Oklahoma Career and Technical Education requirements, Oklahoma Board of Nursing requirements, ACEN requirements and SouthernTech Board Policy.
. Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Unencumbered Oklahoma RN license.
- AHA BLS certification required.
- Experience in a learning management system preferred.
- Familiarity with Rigorous Curriculum Design preferred.
- Must have 3 or more years of experience in field of instruction within the last 5 years.
