Production Worker

Job Summary:

• The Production Worker is responsible for operating machinery and ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety guidelines, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The Production Worker will contribute to meeting production targets and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:

• Operate and monitor production machinery, including setting up equipment and performing routine maintenance.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to ensure product specifications are met.

Production and Inspection:

• Inspect products for defects or inconsistencies and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Inspect finished products to meet customer requirements.

Quality Control:

• Perform quality checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Report any quality issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain cleanliness in the work area.

Inventory Management:

• Assist with inventory control by tracking raw materials and finished products.
• Report shortages or inventory discrepancies to the supervisor.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with other workers and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is preferred but not required.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.

Skills:

• Basic mechanical skills and the ability to operate production machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and up to 60 pounds.
• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.

Working Conditions:

• Work may be performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.

• Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Work Environment:

• Standard 40-hour workweek applies M-Th 8:00 am - 6:30 pm
• Working hours will be spent in the factory or warehouse.
• Moderate to heavy physical activity such as walking, standing, lifting, and pulling is required daily.

• Legal to work in the U.S
• Must pass drug screen

• $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
