What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Writer position at Southern Tier Powersports, Inc?
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service while developing strong relationships with customers ensuring repeat business
- Schedule service appointments and maintain customer profile utilizing computer software
- Work with technicians to provide an accurate and timely diagnosis to customer
- Create complete and accurate cost estimates detailing specific parts and hours needed to complete the job
- Communicate all elements of the estimate to the customer and management
- Meeting with customers to clearing understand and document their requests
- Obtain customers authorization to preform work
- Provide customer an estimated timeline for completion of service work
- If additional parts or labor are needed to complete the job, update customer and obtain authorization for the additional work
- Keep customers informed of progress
- Check for uncompleted warranty work
- Meet with customer when job is complete to explain the work performed and costs incurred
- Meet customers satisfaction ensuring their continued business
- Maintain a clean and professional work area
- Assist in other duties as identified by management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
