What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at Southern Tire Mart?
Position Overview:
This job position covers a wide range of duties and day-to-day activities. A significant amount of time could be spent answering phone calls, billing customers, taking payments, dispatching, and coordinating services. They will need to learn the intricacies of Maddenco (Invoice System). IE how to open and close workorders, quotes, ect. This individual will be answering phones, checking emails, ordering tires, filing, assisting with checking in tire. We are looking for someone with professionalism, patience and a "people-first" attitude. Computer knowledge or any tire knowledge would be helpful, but not necessary, that is trainable.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
· Answering phone calls and providing customer service
· Communicating both internally and externally with information
· Utilizing our point-of-sale system to find/add information
Skills / Education / Requirements:
· Must pass pre-employment drug screen
· Highschool diploma or GED
· Customer service, accounts payable/receivable, logistics, etc. experience preferred, but not required.
· Must be 18 years of age to apply
· Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute
· Great customer service skills
· Effective communication via email and phone
· Must capable of multi-tasking and working in high pace environment
· Needs industrial tire experience
