Junior Processor

Southern Trust Mortgage is looking for a Junior Processor to join our team. We are a well-established mortgage company who prides itself in maintaining a family atmosphere for their employees. At STM, you are not just an employee, you are part of the family.

Location: Fully Remote Position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process brokered loans by gathering information and taking each file from application to closing
• Responsible for ensuring that all loan documentation is complete, accurate, verified, and complies with company policy and investor/broker guidelines
• Request, review and verify loan documents including income, credit, appraisal, and title insurance
• Prepare loan file for submittal to broker
• Review file documentation to make sure all items needed are requested
• Meet crucial deadlines requested
• Order and coordinate loan services for retail loan processors
• Work as a float processor if/when needed
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management
