Production Staff Job Description
The Tony-award winning Utah Shakespeare Festival, a professional theater company in residence at Southern Utah University, is accepting applications for Production Staff for the 2025 season. We produce a six-show repertory season and three Green Shows across three venues in the summer/fall of each year.
This job requires working on scenic elements, props, and paint notes for assigned productions. You will also assist with carpentry, running, changeover, and maintenance of scenery for assigned productions.
Job Requirements
- You must be able to carry 50 lbs for 50 feet unassisted and use ladders over 6' as part of daily tasks.
- Prior experience in technical theater is preferred.
Positions Available
- Deck Carpenter: work begins late April and continues through mid September or mid October depending on the assignment.
- Carpenter Apprentice/Stage Crew: work begins late April and continues through mid September or mid October depending on the assignment.
- Stage Crew: work begins late May and continues through mid September or mid October depending on the assignment.
Housing Provided
We provide housing for our staff members.
