About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Utilities Project Manager to oversee projects related to Water, Wastewater, Natural Gas, and Solid Waste within the Southern Ute Utilities Division.
The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, with a strong background in business, engineering, or a related field. They will be responsible for ensuring project success in areas such as schedule, budget, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
The selected individual will act as a liaison between departments, coordinate staffing, and create documents and presentations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful outcomes in terms of schedule, budget, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaison Services: Act as a liaison between departments, facilitating communication and coordination to achieve project goals.
- Staffing Coordination: Coordinate staffing needs across departments to ensure adequate resources for project execution.
- Document Creation: Develop and maintain documents, reports, and presentations as required by stakeholders.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; OR Associate's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field with 12 years of experience; OR High School diploma or equivalent with 15 years of experience.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the utility industry.
- Certifications/Training: Relevant certifications or training in project management, engineering, or a related field is an asset.

Preference is given to qualified Southern Ute Tribal Members and other Native Americans.
