What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health and Safety Compliance Specialist position at Southern Ute Indian Tribe Growth Fund?
Summary
This position is responsible for independently performing broad safety tasks of a complex scope within multiple safety areas (field, policies, auditing, culture), including writing safety policies and specifications. This position develops, implements and/or maintains various safety and health programs and services in a manner that minimizes or eliminates safety, health and regulatory risks for Growth Fund (GF) business enterprises.
Qualification
- Master of Science degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, earth science, life science, engineering or related discipline and three- eight years experience in a safety role;
OR
- a Bachelor of Science degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, earth science, life science, engineering or related discipline and five years-ten experience in a safety role is required.
- Must have one- five years working experience in the oil and gas industry.
