Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance, including lawn care, groundskeeping, and hardscaping . The Landscape Laborer will work closely with other team members to ensure that all landscaping projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
- Assist in the installation of plants, trees, and shrubs according to design specifications.
- Dig, build, and maintain garden beds and other landscape features.
- Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to identify maintenance needs.
- Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment after use.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within quality standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in landscape maintenance techniques and practices.
- Experience with lawn care, including mowing, fertilizing, and pest control.
- Familiarity with hand tools (shovels, rakes) and power tools (trimmers, blowers).
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ability to dig, build, and create various landscape features effectively.
- Understanding of groundskeeping principles and practices.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
